I’m Sean Jackson, and motorcycles have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. One winter my stepdad rolled his Harley straight into our house, and that was it. Motorcycles never left.
By the time I was a pre-teen, I was already building my first custom chopper. The bug hit hard and I’ve been chasing it ever since. These days my focus is on antique motorcycles and custom antique builds, especially the weird, mechanical, what-if ideas that make people stop and stare.
One of those ideas turned into a 1948 Panhead with an inertia starter pulled from a WWII-era airplane. That bike went on to win the Biltwell People’s Champ in 2023. Yes, it actually used an aircraft inertia starter.
None of this happens alone. Every bike I build is the result of an incredible team. Kevin O’Neal has been there for just about every wild idea I’ve had and helped engineer them into reality. Tom and George Banks are always in the mix, and Gary keeps things precise as our pro machinist. Good ideas are fun. Good ideas executed well are everything.
I spend a lot of my time deep in pre-1936 motorcycle parts with Competition Distributing, supplying and preserving pieces of history that still deserve to be ridden.
Lately, I’ve added dual sport and adventure riding into the mix. In 2026, my wife Kelsey and I are riding to the Arctic Circle and taking on some of the most epic dirt roads Alaska has to offer.
This site is where I share it all. New builds, old iron, bad ideas that turn into good stories, and the rides that keep us moving. Follow along.
